इन्द्रजित्-वधः

The Slaying of Indrajit

स तथाह्यर्दितोबाणैराक्षसेनतदामृधे ।तमाशुप्रतिविव्याधलक्ष्मणःपञ्चभिःशरैः ।।।।विकृष्वेन्द्रजितोयुद्धेवदनेशुभकुण्डले ।

sa tathā hy ardito bāṇair rākṣasena tadā mṛdhe | tam āśu prativivyādha lakṣmaṇaḥ pañcabhiḥ śaraiḥ | vikṛṣvendrajito yuddhe vadane śubhakuṇḍale ||

So von den Pfeilen des Rākṣasa im Kampf verwundet, erwiderte Lakṣmaṇa sogleich und traf Indrajit, dessen Antlitz von schönen Ohrringen geschmückt war, mit fünf Pfeilen.
