Sita’s Lament and Trijata’s Consolation
"O Janaka's daughter! You give up grief and delusion about Rama and Lakshmana. They are alive, no doubt."
Dharma is emotional self-mastery guided by truth: one should relinquish delusion and despair when evidence and righteous confidence indicate hope.
The speaker directly consoles Sītā, instructing her to abandon grief because Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa are certainly alive.
Steadfast hope rooted in satya—refusing to surrender to despair when righteousness has not been defeated.
