सीताविलापः—त्रिजटासान्त्वनं च
Sita’s Lament and Trijata’s Consolation
शुत्वातुवचनंतस्याःसीतासुरसुतोपमा ।कृताञ्जलिरुवाचेमामेवमस्त्वितिमैथिलि ।।।।
śrutvā tu vacanaṃ tasyāḥ sītā surasutopamā |
kṛtāñjalir uvāca emām evam astv iti maithili ||
Sita, strahlend wie eine Tochter der Götter, hörte Trijatas tröstende Worte, faltete ehrfürchtig die Hände und sprach, die Maithili: „So sei es.“
