The Display of the Illusory Head of Rāma
समायातस्समुद्रान्तंमांहन्तुंकिलराघवः ।वानरेन्द्रप्रणीतेनबलेनमहतावृतः ।।।।
samāyātaḥ samudrāntaṃ māṃ hantuṃ kila rāghavaḥ | vānarendra-praṇītena balena mahatāvṛtaḥ ||
Rāghava ist wahrlich bis an den Meeresstrand gelangt, um mich zu töten, umgeben von einem gewaltigen Heer, geführt vom Herrn der Vānaras.
"Raghava led by the huge army force of the Vanara king has arrived on the seashore."
Dharma appears as righteous resolve: Rāma advances to confront injustice and restore moral order. Even in an enemy’s mouth, Rāma’s purpose is framed as decisive action against wrongdoing.
Rāvaṇa reports (as part of his larger manipulation) that Rāma has come to the ocean’s edge with the Vānara forces, setting the stage for the invasion of Laṅkā.
Rāma’s steadfastness and leadership-by-purpose are implied; Sugrīva’s leadership is also indicated by “vānarendra-praṇīta.”
