रावण–रामयुद्धप्रारम्भः

The Intensification of the Rama–Ravana Duel

चेरतुश्चचिरंचित्रंमण्डलंसव्यदक्षिणम् ।बाणवेगात्समुत्क्षिप्तावन्योन्यमपराजितौ ।।6.100.26।।

ceratuś ca ciraṃ citraṃ maṇḍalaṃ savya-dakṣiṇam |

bāṇa-vegāt samutkṣiptāv anyonyam aparājitau ||6.100.26||

Lange Zeit bewegten sich die beiden unbesiegten Kämpfer in wunderbaren Kreisen, nach links und rechts schwenkend, einander durch Kraft und Schnelligkeit ihrer Pfeile drängend und zurückwerfend.
