Als die Vanaras Ramas Worte in seiner Gegenwart vernahmen, drängten sie Hanumān—kundig in der ganzen Begebenheit um Sītā—zu sprechen und sie zu berichten.
The monkeys in Rama's presence narrated all about Sita's detention in Ravana'sAshoka garden, the ogresses threatening her and the time limit fixed by Ravana (for her survival).
Dharma as right counsel and right speech: the community turns to the most competent, truthful witness to prevent confusion and guide righteous action.
Rama asks about Sita; the vanaras direct Hanuman to narrate since he personally saw her and knows the details.
Competence joined with integrity—Hanuman is chosen because he is both knowledgeable and reliable.
