The Token of Recognition (Chūḍāmaṇi) and the Crow Episode Recalled

आसीनस्य च ते श्रान्ता पुनरुत्सङ्गमाविशम्।क्रुध्यन्ती च प्रहृष्टेन त्वयाऽहं परिसान्त्विता।।5.38.19।।

āsīnasya ca te śrāntā punar utsaṅgam āviśam |

krudhyantī ca prahṛṣṭena tvayā 'haṃ parisāntvitā || 5.38.19 ||

Während du dort saßest, erschöpft, nahm ich erneut auf deinem Schoß Platz; und obgleich ich noch zürnte, beruhigtest du mich, frohgemut, ganz und gar.
