Sita’s Lament and Prophecy of Lanka’s Ruin

राघवस्य प्रमत्तस्य रक्षसा कामरूपिणा।रावणेन प्रमथ्याहमानीता क्रोशती बलात्।।।।

rāghavasya pramattasya rakṣasā kāmarūpiṇā |

rāvaṇena pramathyāham ānītā krośatī balāt ||

Als Rāghava unachtsam war, wurde ich—laut klagend—von Rāvaṇa, dem gestaltwandelnden Rākṣasa, gequält und mit Gewalt fortgeschleppt.
