Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
पतत्पतङ्गसङ्काशो व्यायतः शुशुभे कपिः।।।।प्रवृद्ध इव मातङ्गः कक्ष्यया बध्यमानया।
patatpataṅgasaṅkāśo vyāyataḥ śuśubhe kapiḥ | pravṛddha iva mātaṅgaḥ kakṣyayā badhyamānayā ||
Der Affe, weit im Flug ausgebreitet, leuchtete wie die herabsinkende Sonne; an Gestalt gewachsen, glich er einem mächtigen Elefanten, von einem Gurt umspannt.
