Transliteration

tad-vākyaṃ karuṇaṃ rājñaḥ śrutvā dīnasya bhāṣitam | kausalyā vyasṛjad bāṣpaṃ praṇālīva navodakam || 2.62.10 ||

Translation

Als Kausalyā die mitleidvollen Worte des Königs hörte, die er in seiner Not sprach, ließ sie ihre Tränen fließen wie ein Wasserspeier, der frisches Regenwasser ausgießt.
