Cook this venison, O handsome one! We will offer it to the presiding deity of this hut. Hasten, the day and time are fixed (for the rites)
Dharma includes timely performance of duty: sacred acts are done with care for proper timing and procedure, reflecting reverence and self-control.
After the animal is procured, Rāma urges Lakṣmaṇa to cook the venison quickly so the scheduled offering for the hut can proceed.
Rāma’s meticulousness in dharmic observance and Lakṣmaṇa’s service-minded cooperation.
