रामदर्शनार्थं दारानयनम्
The Queens Summoned; Rama’s Leave-Taking and Dasaratha’s Collapse
एवमुक्तो नृपतिना रामो धर्मभृतां वरः।प्रत्युवाचाञ्जलिं कृत्वा पितरं वाक्यकोविदः।।।।
evam ukto nṛpatinā rāmo dharmabhṛtāṃ varaḥ |
pratyuvācāñjaliṃ kṛtvā pitaraṃ vākyakovidaḥ ||
So vom König angesprochen, erwiderte Rāma—der Vornehmste unter den Wahrern des Dharma, kundig im Wort—seinem Vater mit gefalteten Händen in Ehrfurcht.
You will remain the lord of this earth for a thousand years to come, O king! As for me, I will dwell in the forest. Do not deviate from truth on my account.
