विभीषण उवाच । विज्ञाप्यं शृणु मे देव वदतश्च विशांपते । दशग्रीवं कुंभकर्णं या च मां चाप्यजीजनत्

vibhīṣaṇa uvāca | vijñāpyaṃ śṛṇu me deva vadataśca viśāṃpate | daśagrīvaṃ kuṃbhakarṇaṃ yā ca māṃ cāpyajījanat

Vibhīṣaṇa sprach: „O Gott, o Herr der Völker, höre, was ich vorzutragen habe, während ich spreche: jene, die Daśagrīva, Kumbhakarṇa und auch mich gebar.“
