The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It states that sincere worship of the Supreme Goddess leads to śama—inner peace—and it ties that spiritual result to correct ritual execution by prescribing an exact dravya (saffron) for constructing the worship-cakra.
Bhakti is shown as effective when expressed through pūjā: devotion is not merely emotion but reverent, disciplined worship that culminates in tranquility (śama) as its fruit.
It reflects ritual-technical precision—selection of proper dravya for a specific construction (cakra-nirmāṇa)—a hallmark of applied śāstra used alongside Vedāṅga-style procedural clarity in worship.
