Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that dhyāna (meditative visualization) followed by proper propitiation of Devī functions as an āpada-nivāraṇa (calamity-removing) discipline, specifically aimed at dissolving durnīti—wrong counsel, harmful intent, and misguided conduct.
Bhakti is shown as focused reverence expressed through dhyāna and pleasing the deity (pṛnayet), where devotion is not merely emotion but a disciplined practice that invites divine aid to remove obstacles and moral confusion.
The verse reflects applied mantra-śāstra procedure—dhyāna followed by ritual propitiation—aligned with Vedāṅga-style technical discipline (correct method and sequence), even though it does not explicitly name a single Vedāṅga like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa in this line.
