Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 115

Yakṣiṇī-Mantra-Sādhana Nirūpaṇa

Lakṣmī-avatāra-vidyāḥ: Bālā, Annapūrṇā, Bagalā

किं बहूक्त्या साधकेन मन्त्रः सम्यगुपासितः । शत्रूणां गतिबुद्ध्यादेः स्तंभनो नात्र संशयः ॥ ११५ ॥

kiṃ bahūktyā sādhakena mantraḥ samyagupāsitaḥ | śatrūṇāṃ gatibuddhyādeḥ staṃbhano nātra saṃśayaḥ || 115 ||

Was braucht es noch vieler Worte? Wenn der Sādhaka das Mantra recht verehrt und vollkommen geübt hat, bewirkt es ohne Zweifel die Stambhana der Feinde—es stoppt ihre Bewegung, ihren Verstand und dergleichen.
