Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It identifies the mantra’s essentials—ṛṣi, chandas, and devatā—while directing contemplation toward the highest reality: the Supreme Light, i.e., Param Brahman.
By naming the devatā as the Supreme Brahman, it turns practice from mere recitation into reverent upāsanā—devotional meditation on the highest divine principle as light and consciousness.
Chandas (metre) is explicitly taught: the Gāyatrī metre, along with the standard mantra framework of ṛṣi–chandas–devatā used for correct viniyoga in japa and ritual recitation.
