The Exposition of the Krishna Mantra (Kṛṣṇa-mantra-prakāśa): Nyāsa, Dhyāna, Worship, Yantra, and Prayoga
pūjāsu homaṃ sarvāsu kuryānmadhyaṃdine'thavā | āsanādarghyaparyaṃtaṃ kṛtvā stutvā nametsudhīḥ || 104 ||
Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada on ritual discipline within the Vedanga-oriented section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes disciplined worship: complete the prescribed upacāras (from offering a seat to arghya), sanctify the rite with homa (either within each puja or at midday), and seal it with stuti and namaskāra—uniting action, reverence, and devotion.
Bhakti here is expressed through orderly service (upacāra), heartfelt praise (stuti), and surrender (namaskāra). The verse shows devotion as both ritual correctness and inner humility before the deity.
Ritual practice aligned with Kalpa/Vedāṅga procedure is highlighted: the timing (midday option), sequence of offerings (āsana to arghya), and the concluding acts (stuti and namana) that structure a valid pūjā and homa routine.
