Mantra-Māhātmya and Sādhana of Kārtavīryārjuna

Nyāsa, Yantra, Homa, and Dīpa-Vrata

उच्चाटने विभीतस्य समिद्भिः खदिरस्य च । कटुतैलमहिष्याज्यैर्होमद्रव्यांजनं स्मृतम् ॥ ३२ ॥

uccāṭane vibhītasya samidbhiḥ khadirasya ca | kaṭutailamahiṣyājyairhomadravyāṃjanaṃ smṛtam || 32 ||

Für das uccāṭana-Ritual (Vertreiben/Verjagen) sind samidh (Opferhölzer) aus vibhītaka und auch aus khadira vorgeschrieben; zusammen mit scharfem Öl und Büffel-Ghee—diese gelten als die Opferstoffe für das homa.
