āṃjaneya pāṭalāsyaṃ svarṇādrisamavigraham | pārijātadrumūlasthaṃ ciṃtayetsādhakottamaḥ || 102 ||
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It gives a precise dhyāna-lakṣaṇa (visualization template) for Āñjaneya, teaching that focused contemplation on a clearly defined divine form steadies the mind and strengthens devotional absorption.
Bhakti here is practiced as upāsanā: the sādhaka lovingly fixes attention on Hanumān’s auspicious attributes (radiant, golden, serene presence), turning the heart toward devoted remembrance rather than scattered thought.
It reflects the applied discipline of mantra-śāstra and ritual visualization (dhyāna-vidhi): using exact descriptors of form and location as a practical aid for concentration during japa and worship.
