Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 44

Hanumān-mantra-kathana: Mantra-bheda, Nyāsa, Yantra, and Prayoga

प्राणप्रतिष्टां कृत्वा च पाद्यादीनि समर्पयेत् । रक्तचंदनपुष्पैश्च सिंदूराद्यैः समर्चयेत् ॥ ४४ ॥

prāṇapratiṣṭāṃ kṛtvā ca pādyādīni samarpayet | raktacaṃdanapuṣpaiśca siṃdūrādyaiḥ samarcayet || 44 ||

Nachdem die prāṇa-pratiṣṭhā (das Einsetzen der Lebensgegenwart in die Gottheit) vollzogen ist, soll man die rituellen Dienste darbringen, beginnend mit pādya, dem Wasser zum Füßewaschen, und den weiteren; sodann verehre man mit rotem Sandelholz, Blumen sowie mit sindūra (Zinnober) und ähnlichen Gaben.
