Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in a Vedanga/mantra-prayoga context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that mantra is not merely recited but can be applied as a consecrating power (saṃskāra) that transforms ordinary substances like water or medicine into a spiritually potent remedy.
Though framed as a technical application, it implies faith and surrender to the mantra’s divine potency; such trust and disciplined repetition align with bhakti-oriented reliance on sacred sound.
It highlights mantra-prayoga (applied ritual use of mantra) and the disciplined method of mantra-recitation to empower substances—an applied, technical strand associated with Vedanga-style ritual competence.
