Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It states the core principle of mantra-vidyā: a mantra, when properly propitiated (ārādhita), becomes a living spiritual power that can fulfill aims—especially when grounded in satya (truth) and aligned with auspicious śakti such as Lakṣmī.
Bhakti is implied through ārādhana—reverent worship and steady practice—showing that fulfillment comes not from mere recitation but from devoted propitiation that invokes divine grace and auspiciousness.
It highlights mantra-prayoga (applied mantra discipline): correct worship/propitiation and the concept of a specific mantra type (pañcavarṇaka), reflecting technical mantra-science used alongside disciplines like śikṣā (sound) and vyākaraṇa (precision of utterance).
