माल पण्डितमुण्डेति मत्स्य कूर्म ततः परम् । वराहान्ते नृसिंहेति वामनान्ते समीरयेत् ॥ १९० ॥
māla paṇḍitamuṇḍeti matsya kūrma tataḥ param | varāhānte nṛsiṃheti vāmanānte samīrayet || 190 ||
Man soll die heiligen Namen der Reihe nach aussprechen: „Māla, Paṇḍita, Muṇḍa“; dann die Avatāra-Namen „Matsya“ und „Kūrma“. Danach, am Ende von „Varāha“, spreche man „Nṛsiṃha“, und am Ende von „Vāmana“ rezitiere man den nächsten Namen gemäß der Vorschrift.
