It gives the standard mantra-identification (ṛṣi–chandas–devatā), grounding the practice in Vedic discipline and directing devotion to Jaya-Nṛsiṁha as the deity who fulfills righteous aspirations.
By naming Jaya-Nṛsiṁha as the devatā and “giver of all desired aims,” the verse centers the practitioner’s faith on a personal form of Viṣṇu, encouraging focused remembrance and worship with proper mantra procedure.
Chandas (a Vedāṅga) is explicitly cited: the mantra is in the Gāyatrī metre, along with the ritual convention of stating the mantra’s ṛṣi (seer) and devatā (presiding deity) for correct viniyoga.
