पूजयेद्वैष्णवे पीठे मूर्तिं संकल्प्य मूलतः । अंगावरणदिक्पालहेतिभिः सहितं विभुम् ॥ १०७ ॥
pūjayedvaiṣṇave pīṭhe mūrtiṃ saṃkalpya mūlataḥ | aṃgāvaraṇadikpālahetibhiḥ sahitaṃ vibhum || 107 ||
Man soll den Herrn auf einem vaiṣṇavischen Sockel verehren, indem man zuerst die Gottesgestalt von der Wurzel, vom Fundament her, im Gelübde einsetzt; und den allgegenwärtigen Herrn verehren zusammen mit Seinen Gliedern, den begleitenden Umhüllungen, den Hütern der Himmelsrichtungen und Seinen göttlichen Waffen.

It teaches that Vaiṣṇava worship is complete only when the Lord is honored as an integrated divine order—Vishnu at the center, with His aṅgas (aspects), āvaraṇas (attendant deities), dikpālas (cosmic guardians), and āyudhas (protective powers).
Bhakti here is expressed as attentive, reverent service: the devotee mentally establishes the Lord (saṅkalpa) and then offers worship that recognizes both intimacy (the Lord’s limbs/aspects) and majesty (directional guardians and weapons).
It reflects ritual-technical discipline: correct saṅkalpa (intentional installation), structured worship with āvaraṇa-devatā and dikpāla placements (a standard pūjā/maṇḍala logic), and the ordered inclusion of āyudhas—features aligned with kalpa-style procedural knowledge.
