हस्ताभ्यां पात्रमादाय जानुभ्यामवनीं गतः । आमूर्ध्नि पात्रमुद्धृत्यांबरेण वरणे रवेः ॥ ४३ ॥

Transliteration

hastābhyāṃ pātramādāya jānubhyāmavanīṃ gataḥ | āmūrdhni pātramuddhṛtyāṃbareṇa varaṇe raveḥ || 43 ||

Translation

Den Krug mit beiden Händen ergreifend, soll er auf den Knien zur Erde hinabgehen. Dann, den Krug bis zum Scheitel erhebend, soll er zu der Zeit, da die Sonne bedeckt wird (während der Finsternis), den rituellen Akt des Verhüllens mit einem Tuch vollziehen.
