एवं ध्यात्वा चतुश्चत्वारिंशत्साहस्रसंयुतम् । चतुर्लक्षं जपेन्मंत्रं अष्टद्रव्यैर्दशांशतः ॥ १८ ॥
evaṃ dhyātvā catuścatvāriṃśatsāhasrasaṃyutam | caturlakṣaṃ japenmaṃtraṃ aṣṭadravyairdaśāṃśataḥ || 18 ||
Nachdem man so meditiert hat, soll man das Mantra vierhunderttausendmal wiederholen, zusammen mit der vorgeschriebenen Zahl von vierundvierzigtausend; und den zehnten Teil davon als Opfergaben im Homa mit acht rituellen Substanzen darbringen.
