Dann ziehe man jenes Wasser, feurig leuchtend, erneut durch iḍā (den linken Kanal) ein, um die ins Innere gelangte Unreinheit zu reinigen; und eben dieses Wasser soll man wieder ausstoßen.
Narada (teaching a technical yogic/ritual method within the Vedanga-oriented section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents inner purification (śauca) as a subtle process: the practitioner uses energized water and regulated inner movement through iḍā to cleanse internal defilement, indicating that purity is both physical and subtle.
While technical in tone, the method supports bhakti by preparing the body-mind as a fit vessel for mantra and worship—purity and disciplined practice are treated as aids to steady devotion.
A procedural, practice-oriented instruction aligned with the Narada Purana’s technical sections: controlled internal cleansing involving iḍā nāḍī (a yogic physiology detail often used to support ritual purity and mantra-sādhana).
