Wer Jagannātha in Einsamkeit verehrt, frei von Verlangen, wird von allen Sünden gelöst und gelangt zur höchsten Wohnstatt.
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that sincere worship of Jagannātha performed with inner detachment (vigata-spṛhā) purifies all pāpa and leads to the highest spiritual goal—paramaṃ padam (liberation/supreme abode).
Bhakti here is defined by purity of intention: worship offered without personal gain and without distraction. Such desireless devotion becomes spiritually transformative and culminates in attaining the Lord’s supreme state.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is ritual discipline (pūjā) guided by sāttvika intent—solitude, focus, and freedom from craving—so the act becomes a means to purification and mokṣa.
