Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada, within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue framework)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
It emphasizes śauca (purity) as a prerequisite for sacred acts: remove impurity, re-establish ritual purity through ācamana, and then perform snāna in clean water.
By prescribing bodily and ritual cleanliness before religious observance, it supports bhakti as disciplined worship—purifying one’s outer conduct to steady inner reverence.
It highlights kalpa-style ritual procedure: sequential rules for purification, ācamana, and snāna, reflecting practical dharma-ritual methodology rather than grammar or astrology.
