ऐश्वर्यमदमत्ताश्च मानान्मयमदेन च । अप्रमत्ताः शठाः क्रूरा विक्रांताः पर्युपासते ॥ ६७ ॥
aiśvaryamadamattāśca mānānmayamadena ca | apramattāḥ śaṭhāḥ krūrā vikrāṃtāḥ paryupāsate || 67 ||
Vom Rausch der Macht und des Reichtums, ebenso von Stolz und Eitelkeit betäubt, lauern die Unbußfertigen—listig, grausam und überheblich—den Tugendhaften auf und halten sie im Blick.
