Graha–Ketu–Utpāta Lakṣaṇas: Solar/Lunar Omens, Comets, Eclipses, and Calendar Rules

घटाकृतिः क्षुद्भयकृत्पुरहा तोरणाकृतिः । छत्राकृते देशहतिः खंडभानुनृपांतकृत् ॥ १४ ॥

ghaṭākṛtiḥ kṣudbhayakṛtpurahā toraṇākṛtiḥ | chatrākṛte deśahatiḥ khaṃḍabhānunṛpāṃtakṛt || 14 ||

Ein Omen in Gestalt eines Topfes bringt Furcht vor Hungersnot; eines, das über der Stadt erscheint, bringt der Stadt Verderben. Ein Omen in Gestalt eines Torbogens kündigt Ruin an; eines in Gestalt eines Schirms kündigt Verwüstung des Landes an. Erscheint die Sonne zerbrochen oder zersplittert, so bedeutet dies den Tod des Königs.
