तुतोद तोत्ता तोत्स्यति तुदत्वतुदत्तुदेत्तुद्याद्धि । अतौत्सीदतोत्स्यदिति च रुणद्धि रूरोध रोद्धा रोत्स्यति वै ॥ ७६ ॥
tutoda tottā totsyati tudatvatudattudettudyāddhi | atautsīdatotsyaditi ca ruṇaddhi rūrodha roddhā rotsyati vai || 76 ||
„Vom Stamm tud („schlagen“): tutoda (er schlug), tottā (der Schläger) und totsyati (er wird schlagen); ebenso: tudat (schlagend), tudatva (Zustand/Tat des Schlagens), tudetta (er möge schlagen) und tudyāt (er sollte schlagen), wahrlich. Und vom Stamm rudh („hindern“): atautsīt (er schlug—beispielhafte Aoristform), atotsyat (er wird schlagen—beispielhafte Zukunftsform); ferner ruṇaddhi (er hindert), rūrodha (er hinderte), roddhā (der Hindernde) und rotsyati (er wird hindern), wahrlich.“
