Narada
Vrata: Nīrājana-vrata
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches maṅgala-kriyā (auspicious protective rites) centered on go-sevā—honoring and safeguarding cattle through nīrājana, protective maṇḍala, and victory-salutations accompanied by sacred sound.
Bhakti here is expressed as reverent service and auspicious worship-like conduct—offering light, salutations, and sacred sounds—treating beings sustained by dharma (cows/cattle) with devotion and protection.
It reflects ritual procedure (kalpa-prayoga style) and śikṣā-linked use of sound (ghaṇṭā/śaṅkha, victory-cries) as a regulated auspicious element in household and protective rites.
