Daśamī-vrata: Observances for the Bright Tenth Day Through the Twelve Months
प्रत्येकं दक्षिणां दत्वा प्रणियत्य विसर्जयेत् । दक्षिणां तां द्विजाग्र्येभ्यो गुरवे वा समर्पयेत् ॥ ५३ ॥
pratyekaṃ dakṣiṇāṃ datvā praṇiyatya visarjayet | dakṣiṇāṃ tāṃ dvijāgryebhyo gurave vā samarpayet || 53 ||
Nachdem man jedem die vorgeschriebene dakṣiṇā gegeben hat, soll man ordnungsgemäß abschließen und sie ehrerbietig entlassen. Diese dakṣiṇā ist erhabenen Brāhmaṇas darzubringen oder andernfalls dem eigenen Guru zu übergeben.
