The Narration of the Navamī Vow Observed Across the Twelve Months
Narada (teaching in dialogue context with Sanatkumara tradition; verse states the fruit of the vow)
Vrata: Kaumārī-vrata
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It declares the phala (fruit) of observing the Kaumārī-vrata with sincere devotion: the devotee attains Devī-loka, described as an eternal divine realm, indicating exalted post-mortem spiritual reward for vow-based worship.
The verse makes bhakti the decisive factor—performing the vow “with devotion” is what leads to the promised fruit, emphasizing inner dedication over mere external ritual.
It highlights ritual-dharma through vrata-vidhi and phala-śruti (the rule-and-result structure of observances), rather than a technical Vedāṅga topic like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa.
