The Exposition of the Ṣaṣṭhī-vrata Observed Through the Twelve Months
गुडपुष्पैः कर्णवेष्टैर्मोदकैरुपमोदकैः । बहुप्रकारैर्नैवेद्यैर्यथा विभवसारतः ॥ १९ ॥
guḍapuṣpaiḥ karṇaveṣṭairmodakairupamodakaiḥ | bahuprakārairnaivedyairyathā vibhavasārataḥ || 19 ||
Mit Blütenopfern, gesüßt mit Jaggery (guḍa), mit ohrförmigem Gebäck (karṇaveṣṭa), mit Modakas und Upamodakas sowie mit vielerlei Naivedya soll man verehren – entsprechend den eigenen Mitteln und Möglichkeiten.
