The exposition of the Pañcamī vow to be observed in the twelve months
Narada (in instruction within the Narada Purana dialogue tradition)
Vrata: none (pradoṣa-kāla worship indicated, but no named Pradosha-vrata stated in this verse)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It emphasizes disciplined daily conduct culminating in pradoṣa-time temple worship, presenting dusk worship of Īśvara as a focused, spiritually potent practice.
Bhakti is expressed through direct, embodied devotion—going to the temple and performing wholehearted worship of the Lord in liṅga form—showing devotion as consistent practice rather than only belief.
It highlights applied ritual timing (kāla-niyama)—the pradoṣa period—as a key procedural detail in worship, aligning practice with traditional calendrical/ritual discipline.
