The exposition of the Pañcamī vow to be observed in the twelve months
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none (continuation of the Śrāvaṇa kṛṣṇa-pañcamī vrata preparation)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes vrata-discipline and śauca (ritual cleanliness): food intended for observance is to be carefully arranged and purified/ritually prepared with water at the prescribed time (Caturthī, late in the day).
Bhakti is expressed through precise, reverent practice—preparing offerings with care, separating them properly, and performing water-purification as an act of mindful service during a vow.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) and tithi-based timing: it specifies Caturthī and the day’s concluding period (dinaśeṣa) as the correct ritual window, reflecting applied vrata-vidhi.
