सुवर्णरजते नेत्रे प्रदद्याच्च द्विजातये । पूर्णयात्राव्रते ह्यस्मिन्दध्ना वापि घृतेन च ॥ ५ ॥

Transliteration

suvarṇarajate netre pradadyācca dvijātaye | pūrṇayātrāvrate hyasmindadhnā vāpi ghṛtena ca || 5 ||

Translation

In diesem Pūrṇa-yātrā-Gelübde soll man einem Dvijāti (Brāhmaṇa) ein Paar „Augen“ aus Gold und Silber darreichen und dazu auch Dickmilch (dadhi) oder Ghee (ghṛta) geben.
