It signals that the Purāṇa is both cosmological and scriptural: it maps the three worlds (trailokya) and also organizes Vedic knowledge, culminating in a devotional-teaching section called the Aiśvarī Gītā centered on the Lord (Īśvara).
By pointing to the Aiśvarī Gītā in the later division, the verse indicates that the Purāṇa’s learning is meant to mature into God-centered instruction—knowledge that leads toward reverence, surrender, and worship of Īśvara (a common Bhakti trajectory in the Narada Purana).
It highlights Veda-śākhā-nirūpaṇa—systematic knowledge of Vedic recensions and branches, a practical foundation for correct śruti study, ritual application, and traditional curriculum organization (often paired with Vedāṅga disciplines in Purāṇic summaries).
