Adhyaya 92 — Devi’s Assurance of Protection and the Fruits of Reciting the Devi Mahatmyam

उपसर्गाः शमं यान्ति ग्रहपीडाश्च दारुणाः ।

दुःस्वप्नं च नृभिर्दृष्टं सुस्वप्नमुपजायते ॥

Transliteration

upasargāḥ śamaṃ yānti grahapīḍāśca dāruṇāḥ / duḥ svapnaṃ ca nṛbhirdṛṣṭaṃ susvapnamupajāyate

Translation

Unheil legt sich, und auch die schrecklichen Bedrängnisse durch die Einwirkungen der Planeten werden besänftigt. Und ein böser Traum, den Menschen sehen, wandelt sich in einen glückverheißenden Traum.
