Adhyaya 88 — The Manifestation of the Matrikas and the Slaying of Raktabija
मुखे समुद्गता येऽस्य रक्तपातान्महासुराः ।
तांश्चखादाथ चामुण्डा पपौ तस्य च शोणितम् ॥
mukhe samudgatā ye 'sya raktapātān mahāsurāḥ | tāṃś cakhādātha cāmuṇḍā papau tasya ca śoṇitam ||
Die großen Asuras, die aus seinem herabfallenden Blut entsprangen, verschlang Cāmuṇḍā; und sie trank auch sein Blut.
