Bhīṣma–Arjuna Strategic Engagement at Virāṭa’s Frontier (भीष्मार्जुनयुद्धम्)

ततः पार्थो महाबाहु: प्रहस्य स्वनवत्‌ तदा । योजयामास नवया मौर्व्या गाण्डीवमोजसा,उस समय महाबाहु पार्थ ठहाका मारकर हँसने लगे। फिर उन्होंने गाण्डीव धनुषपर बलपूर्वक नयी प्रत्यंचा चढ़ा दी

tataḥ pārtho mahābāhuḥ prahasya svanavat tadā | yojayāmāsa navayā maurvyā gāṇḍīvam ojasā ||

Da lachte Pārtha, der Mächtigarmige, laut und hallend. Und sogleich spannte er mit Kraft und Meisterschaft den Gāṇḍīva-Bogen mit einer neuen Sehne.
