Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 22 — Draupadī’s Abduction Attempt and Bhīma’s Suppression of the Kīcakas
ततस्तु द्रौपदी गत्वा तदा भीम॑ महानसे । उपातिष्ठत कल्याणी कौरव्यं पतिमन्तिकम्,तदनन्तर कल्याणस्वरूपा द्रौपदी पाकशालामें अपने पति कुरुनन्दन भीमसेनके पास गयी
tatastu draupadī gatvā tadā bhīmaṁ mahānase | upātiṣṭhata kalyāṇī kauravyaṁ patim antikam ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Da ging Draupadī, die glückverheißende Frau, zu Bhīma in die große Küche und stellte sich nahe zu ihrem Gemahl, dem Helden aus dem Geschlecht der Kauravas. Die Szene hebt ihre Zuflucht beim Gatten in Verbergung und Gefahr hervor und die stille Standhaftigkeit ehelicher Pflicht in der Not.
