सूर्याचन्द्रमसोलोंके प्रकाशन्ते रुचश्व॒ या: । ता: केशसंज्ञितास्त्रयक्षे व्योमकेशस्तत: स्मृत:,लोकमें जो सूर्य और चन्द्रमाकी किरणें प्रकाशित होती हैं, वे भगवान्‌ त्रिलोचनके केश कही गयी हैं। वे व्योम (आकाश)-में प्रकाशित होती हैं; इसलिये उनका नाम “व्योमकेश' है

Translation

Vyāsa sprach: „Die Strahlen, die von Sonne und Mond in der Welt leuchten, werden die ‘Haare’ des Dreiaugigen genannt. Und weil sie im vyoma—im Himmelsraum—erstrahlen, wird er darum mit dem Namen ‘Vyomakeśa’ in Erinnerung gehalten: der, dessen Haar der Himmel ist.“
