ततः प्रसादयामासुरुमां रुद्रं च ते सुरा: । अभवच्च पुनर्बाहुर्यथाप्रकृति वच्धिण:,तब देवताओंने पार्वतीदेवी तथा भगवान्‌ शंकरको प्रसन्न किया। फिर वज्रधारी इन्द्रकी बाँह जैसी पहले थी, वैसी हो गयी

tataḥ prasādayāmāsur umāṃ rudraṃ ca te surāḥ | abhavac ca punar bāhur yathāprakṛti vajradhinaḥ ||

Daraufhin suchten die Götter Umā und Rudra zu besänftigen. Und durch diese Sühne wurde der Arm Indras, des Trägers des Vajra, wieder wie zuvor — in seinen natürlichen Zustand zurückversetzt.

When divine powers are affronted or cosmic order is disturbed, restoration comes not through force but through humility and proper propitiation; grace (prasāda) follows sincere appeasement, returning things to their rightful state.
