तथा संसक्तयुद्धं तदभवद्‌ भृशदारुणम्‌ | अथ संध्यागत: सूर्य: क्षणेन समपद्यत,इस प्रकार वह अत्यन्त भयंकर घमासान युद्ध हो ही रहा था कि क्षणभरमें प्रातःसंध्याकी वेलामें सूर्यदेवका पूर्णतः उदय हो गया

Transliteration

tathā saṁsaktayuddhaṁ tad abhavad bhṛśadāruṇam | atha saṁdhyāgataḥ sūryaḥ kṣaṇena samapadyata |

Translation

Bhima sprach: „So wurde jener eng verschlungene Kampf überaus grauenvoll. Dann, als die Stunde der Dämmerung herankam, trat die Sonne — in einem Augenblick — in ihren rechten Stand und erschien in voller Klarheit; so zeigte sich, wie rasch die Zeit sich wendet, selbst mitten im Toben der Schlacht.“
