प्राच्यां देशि सहस्रांशोररुणेनारुणीकृतम्‌ । तपनीयं यथा चक्र भ्राजते रविमण्डलम्‌,प्राचीमें अरुणके द्वारा अरुण किया हुआ सूर्यदेवका मण्डल सुवर्णमय चक्रके समान सुशोभित होने लगा

prācyāṃ deśi sahasrāṃśor aruṇenāruṇīkṛtam | tapanīyaṃ yathā cakra bhrājate ravimaṇḍalam ||

Sañjaya sprach: Im Osten war die Sonnenscheibe des Tausendstrahligen von Aruṇa gerötet; und der Sonnenkreis glänzte wie ein Rad aus geläutertem Gold.
